On Sunday, I will be embarking on a 2-week road trip up Route 66 with my buddy Joel Schat for a company called Roadtrippers. The goal of the trip is to document the story of 2 photographers as they explore the culture and history of Route 66. We will be stopping at most major attractions and photograph it's current state. The best part about the trip is that we will be traveling in an old 88' Volkswagon Westfalia camper van. The thing is a beast! Joel has been traveling the states for the past year or so in the Westy and I can't wait to finally travel with him in it. We will be leaving Tucson May 11th and arriving in Chicago on May 20th. After Chicago, Joel will head down to Indianapolis to film the Indy 500 while I stay and explore Chicago for a few days with my other photography buddy Eric Hines. I am extremely excited for this trip. Even though there is no paycheck except for covered expenses, I'm solely doing this trip for the experience. The memories of this trip is priceless! To get a feel for what we do for a living and what we will be doing on the road. Please check out the video at the bottom of the page! Please be sure to follow my work on my social media sites such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter!Post by Sean Parker.
